It is a surgical procedure that is generally part of Liposculpture. First, Liposuction is performed, improving the body contour, then the fat obtained during Liposculpture is processed by decantation and, later, placed in 60 cubic centimeter syringes. These syringes are used together with special cannulas to transfer the processed fat to the gluteal region, increasing its volume and modeling its shape.
It consists of the placement of a silicone prosthesis filled with silicone gel under the gluteus maximus.
It is performed by making an incision of approximately 4 cm in the intergluteal groove, below the gluteus maximus muscle, and reaching through said incision to a pocket that is located below the gluteus where the prosthesis is placed.
For this operation, biodimensional prostheses adapted to the characteristics of the buttock are used, formed by a highly cohesive silicone elastomer membrane with the consistency and resistance necessary for the region.
Currently there are different types of silicone implants (round or oval, high or low profile, smooth or textured surface, etc.).
