PLASTIC SURGERY
ABDOMINAL AREA

CONVENTIONAL LIPOSCULPTURE

It is a surgical intervention to eliminate excess fat accumulated in different areas of the body, generally in the arms, legs, abdomen, hips and jowls.

The procedure consists of inserting a small cannula into the adipose tissue, connected to a suction system that discards the fatty deposits.

LASER AND ULTRASONIC LIPOSCULPTURE

It is a minimally invasive technique that consists of fat removal using laser light that causes the dissolution of fat cells and improves body contour. This intervention reduces the risks of traditional liposuction, in addition to including a reduction in pain and inflammation in the postoperative period. It also helps reduce cellulite.

LASER AND ULTRASOUND ABDOMINAL MARKING

It is a surgery that aims to make the skin adhere to the abdominal wall, managing to visualize each structure of the area under treatment, and it generally uses laser or ultrasound to obtain the best results with minimal risks. Marking shapes the body to look more athletic, emphasizing the shapes of the rectus abdominis and oblique muscles.

LIPOABDOMINOPLASTY

It consists of the use of two combined techniques: a Liposculpture of the abdomen followed by a Restorative Abdominoplasty (or Dermolipectomy). The procedure consists of making an incision in the suprapubic fold (above the pubis), in order to detach and dry the skin of the abdomen. In this way, it is possible to eliminate the irreversible dilation that the skin of the abdomen presents (flap or dermo-fat apron), along with any other deformity, such as: stretch marks, scars, flaccidity, among others.

During an Abdominoplasty, the muscular wall of the abdomen can also be repaired in those patients who present Abdominal Diastasis. Abdominal Diastasis is the separation of the rectus abdominis muscles due to pregnancy, after a cesarean section or massive weight gain (both in men and women). To correct the diastasis, the surgeon rejoins these separated muscles, in order to achieve a flat abdomen and narrowing of the patient’s waist.

The extent of the incision will depend on the flaccidity of the skin and the degree of obesity of the person. The scar is perfectly concealed by underwear.

MINIDERMOLYPECTOMY

It is an effective and simple procedure to remove excess skin and fat that has accumulated in the lower abdomen, above the pubis. This accumulation usually generates a fold that bulges below the navel and that is difficult to correct with physical exercise or other treatments. The ideal patient should have minimal to moderate excess skin, predominantly in the lower abdomen. The procedure is usually combined with liposuction of the waist and abdomen; although if necessary a body liposculpture can be performed.
